Class Description
How much time and money do you or your company waste because information you need is not at your fingertips or organized in a way that is easily retrievable? Stop wasting time and money and learn how to use Microsoft Outlook with Business Contact Manager as a tool to help you manage your time and information. Learn tips that you can implement immediately that you will wish you'd known years ago.
Class content is focused primarily on the use of Business Contact Manager in Microsoft Outlook 2007. Business Contact Manager is found in the "Professional," "Small Business" and "Ultimate" versions of Microsoft Outlook. Business Contacts are only found in Business Contact Manager and are different from "Contacts" in Outlook. If you are not using Business Contact Manager, we recommend that you look at our program Organizing Your Workday Using Microsoft Outlook 2007 instead.
What You Will Learn 1. How to create a "business contact" in Business Contact Manager and how to customize information such as the "source of the lead," your client or prospect's "area of interest" and how to add your own fields to track data specific to your business.
2. How to create an "account" that you can link business contacts to and then customize the account for your business needs.
3. How to link all e-mail correspondence to your business contact so you no longer need to look in your inbox, sent or deleted items folder.
4. How to track all communication history with a business contact or an account; including: phone logs, business notes, opportunities, appointments, projects, tasks, files and more.
5. How to organize your accounts and business contact using custom categories - and be able to access data in seconds - without ever having to remember name or company names.
